As part of the Great Tribulation, God will allow demonic forces to torture unbelievers with pain, and other demonic forces will then kill a third of humanity. Before the end of the world, God will send powerful Moses-like and Elijah-like prophets to the ungodly world; the beast will silence the prophets, but only temporarily. The blowing of the seventh trumpet will herald the consummation of all things in completion.

The great period of end-time tribulation unfolds with four plagues in which a third of the earth, sea, rivers, and heavenly bodies are destroyed.

2) The Second Trumpet: Judgment upon the sea
3) The Third Trumpet: Judgment upon the rivers and springs
4) The Fourth Trumpet: Judgment upon the heavenly bodies
